Meet Justin Homan

When it comes to riding dirt bikes, Justin Homan, started like most riders, riding trails, OHV areas & rock pits with friends and family.  Over the last 40 years Justin has had one of the longest careers in the sport’s history.   Justin got into racing motocross as a young kid and advanced to racing AMA National Supercross & Motocross events. Then in the early 2000's to current Justin competed and performed Freestyle Motocross "FMX" around the world.  Dubbed as a genuine "OG" in the world of FMX, Justin has been a prominent X-Games figure for two decades.  His accolades include being a 12 years finalist X-Games & Gravity Games contests; securing a Bronze medal at the Thailand X-Games, being the Malaysian X-Games Champion & triumphing in several regional FMX competitions from 2008 to 2019. Then won the Nashville X-Games qualifier Best Trick inventing the HolyMan trick, which soon after was featured in popular motocross video games.  As a 12-time finalist, he has participated in Summer X, Winter X, and Gravity Games.  Notably, Justin was the eighth athlete in the world to successfully execute a backflip in competition, showcasing his comittment to training and innovation.

Justin skillfully juggles two seemingly unrelated careers— holding a 9-to-5 corporate job in real estate, leveraging his accounting and finance degree from the University of Washington, where he was recognized on the Dean's list, while also building riders of all skill levels at the MX13 MX training facility in Redmond, Oregon.

Justin's Passion for Motocross and why he wants to train you!

I grew up enjoying dirt bikes riding and racing alongside family and friends. This passion evolved into amateur racing leading to a remarkable 25-year professional career in Supercross, Motocross, and Freestyle Motocross. My goal is to share the joy and camaraderie of motocross while teaching training habits that ensure safer progression. The MX13MX training facility is exceptionally unique in the Pacific Northwest, as it incorporates four (4) different courses to improve your dirt bike skills.  Whether you are new to riding altogether or an advanced rider in any dirt bike riding discipline, we have fun courses and obstacles for you.   MX13MX distinguishes itself from other facilities as it offers Open Practices & Training.  There are no racing events at MX13MX.

The location of the facility was chosen after searching throughout Central Oregon for good soil.  The soil at MX13MX is very rare for Central Oregon, as it lacks the lava rock abundant here in the High Desert.  With movable clean dirt the tracks are modified and changed frequently.  The Turn Track is able to be ripped with equipment for rut practice & drills.  Again, the Open Practice & Training dates welcome individuals of all ages and skill levels.  Our mission is to help r become more skilled, improve lap times, and learn "safer progression" on dirt bikes. We specialize in training Trail Riding, Motocross, Arenacross, Supercross, and Freestyle Motocross disciplines. One-on-One private coaching, small group training sessions for 2-5 riders, and larger group sessions accommodating 6-20 riders are available.
